A 10 hectare property and home, with extensive skyline views of Melbourne, was the basis of a client brief to comprehensively rework minimal existing gardens, and improve facilities in the existing vineyard. Works included perimeter security fencing, stone and steel entry gates and fence [with full audiovisual security], ornamental lakes and streams, bridge, formal water features, large dining patio and arbor, circular formal garden, vineyard access roads, storage bins, lawns, clearing of existing vegetation to open view axis, extensive tree and bed planting, lawn establishment, and detailed lighting and irrigation works. A challenging soil, climate and aspect required detailed horticultural evaluation of all plants. Possible future proposed works may include barns, stables, and golf tee and green. Materials to be used, and extensive engineering computations for all built structures. Ongoing establishment of the garden is a rewarding experience for clients - |
