This Project was a result of a recommendation thru friends from a previous Client of ours, & the new Clients as were the old, are an absolute joy to work with. What started as a re-design of the front garden soon morphed into a complete re-think of all exterior garden & living spaces of the home.
Working with a combination of our preferred Contractors & the Clients' Contractors a greart result was achieved over the extensive Project.
The existing front fence, gates, driveway & front verandah were replaced, & a water feature, detailed timber rose lattice added to the newly travertine paved front garden
This paving material was used in back garden as well, with planting pockets allowed for shade trees & synthetic turf inserts. The awkward angled line of the pool's existing feature wall was softened, & 3 x antique bronze water outlets placed in tiled panels to the newly configured wall. The spa coping was tiled to match the pool interior, the sagging footings to the pool pavilion under-pinned, & a new galvanised steel framed & s/steel wire arbor installed. A period style verandah was added to the back of the home to reduce the impact of the western sun during summer afternoons & provide an undercover seating spot to view the pool & garden. An unobtrusive steel & perspex roof was placed over a caeserstone bbq facility, & a hot & cold water exterior shower plumbed in place.
The result is a seamless integration of old & new that utilises & up-dates existing facilities, & provides a totaly practical & beautiful garden & exterior living facilities for the Clients.
